Info session for potential Saint John municipal council candidates

Campaigning is already underway for some, while others are still contemplating whether to run for municipal council.

The City of Saint John will host an information session on Wednesday night for potential council candidates.

It will provide an overview of the Procedural By-laws and what serving on Council entails.

This is a learning session for potential candidates only.

You’re asked to register online.

The session will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm in the council chambers at City Hall.

The deadline to register as a municipal candidate with Elections NB is April 10 at 2 pm.

Municipal elections will be held on May 11.
