An inmate has died while in custody at the federal prison in Renous.
Officials at the Atlantic Institution say a 22-year-old offender had been serving a three-year, three-month sentence for robbery since December 2016.
Police and the coroner have been notified and the circumstances surrounding the death will be reviewed.
The man’s name has not been released.
