On Friday, August 16, 2019, a 32-year-old inmate from Atlantic Institution died while in custody.
At the time of his death, Bradley Oliver had been serving a sentence of more than 14 years for Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and two counts Aggravated Assault since December 23, 2014.
His family has been notified of his death.
Correctional Service Canada will conduct a review of the circumstances surrounding Oliver’s death.
