An inmate has died at the Shepody Healing Centre in Dorchester.
Joseph Turple, 64, passed away last Thursday, according to Correctional Service Canada.
The federal agency said Monday that he died of apparent “natural causes.”
Turple had been serving a life sentence since December 2001.
