An inmate was injured during an assault at the Atlantic Institution in Renous.
Corrections Officials say the incident happened on Saturday night in the maximum security federal institution.
The injured inmate was transported to hospital to receive treatment.
RCMP are investigating, but they have identified those they believe were involved.
There’s no word on the condition of the inmate who was injured.
