Helping young people participate in basketball is the purpose of “Rumble in the Station”.
Dealermine has stepped forward with new sneakers and tee shirts for over 100 young people so they can play basketball. They will not only play basketball at Harbour Station but they will also take part in a basketball clinic and attend a Mill Rats game.
Dealermine C-E-O Robert Quirion says he embraced the idea when first approached because it gives young people a shot at something better.
The first Rumble game takes place at Harbour Station on Sunday afternoon when Prince Charles takes on Hazen White-St. Francis and the Mill Rats host Halifax at 4:00.
