Interim NB Liberal Leader Expected To Be Named Next Week

New Brunswick is expected to have a new interim Liberal Leader by Monday or Tuesday next week.

Kevin Vickers stepped down from the role on election night after the PC’s were elected to a majority government.

Vickers also lost in his Miramichi riding to Peoples Alliance candidate Michelle Conroy.

Government spokesperson Ashley Beaudin told us the caucus is expected to meet early next week to vote on the position.
