The investigation into the shooting death of a 27 year old man on Shipyard Road in Rothesay this past February has wrapped up.
The young man was shot by police after they responded to a call about a domestic dispute.
The investigation by the RCMP found the use of force was reasonable under the circumstances. In a release, inspector Jeff Porter called it a tragic situation for the family of the deceased and the officers involved, extending their sympathies.
The officers involved were taken off-duty for a time and then reinstated after receiving counselling.
No one else was injured in that incident.
