Advance voting for the provincial election will start this weekend, and some Islanders may be wondering if they can take part.
We reached out to Director of Communications with Elections New Brunswick, Paul Harpelle.
“For those electors on Campobello Island who might be wondering, ‘well, does the lack of ferry service have any impact’ on them, we just want to reassure the residents of Campobello that we have advance polling stations set up on the island.”
Harpelle says for Islanders, they will be set up at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Hall in Welshpool, open from 10am to 8pm, both Saturday, September 15th, and Monday, September 17th.
The provincial election will be held on September 24th, 2018.
For anyone with questions about where to vote at the advance polls, Harpelle says all the information can be found on your voter information card. He says you can also call Elections NB toll-free at 1-888-858-VOTE, or go to the Elections NB website.
