Politicial Scienctist Dr. Geoff Martin of Mount Allision University says without a seat he is not hampered by having to spend all of his time in Ottawa and is free to meet new donors.
We asked Dr. Geoff Martin if he thinks former leader Tom Mulcair will step down and he thinks Mulcair may serve until the election.
Martin says the question is to what degree will he encourage Tom Mulcair to stay on or will he encourage him to retire.
Martin believes Singh and his team had the best ground game of the four candidates because he was able to bring in new members to the party in Ontario and elsewhere and is also adept at fundraising.
