JD Irving is also applying to be an intervenor at the NEB hearing on the proposed Energy East pipeline project.
Mary Keith tells us the route may be cross some JDI property in Northern New Brunswick so it’s a normal course of business when any of their operations may be impacted.
She says they have a great working relationship with Trans Canada Pipeline and with Irving Oil and they see the benefit the Energy East pipeline could bring for both the province and the country.
Keith says while the pipeline route has yet to be finalized they understand in its current form that it may cross some of the company’s property.
