A massive modernization project is underway at Irving Pulp and Paper and Irving Tissue in west Saint John.
More than 80 New Brunswick companies are working on the modernization and account for $29-million of the $40-million investment.
According to J.D. Irving Ltd., the upgrade will improve energy use at the pulp mill, which is already 95 percent green energy.
It’s expected the work will wrap up by around May 14th.
