Jeff Cawley Running For Quispamsis Council

There is another candidate in the running for one of seven council seats in the town of Quispamsis.

Jeff Cawley has been a tradesman in the welding industry for the past three decades and lived in the town since 1994.

“I’m a hardworking individual, who always strives to achieve the highest standard possible,” Cawley said in an email.

If elected, Cawley said his goals include a high level of transparency and accountability to the town’s residents.

He said he also wants to encourage new business opportunities, discourage future tax increases, and encourage investment into low-income housing for seniors and fixed-income families, among other things.

Voters will head to the polls on May 10.
