A long-time north end Saint John resident is hoping to become a councillor in Ward 2.
Jerry Kunitzky has put his name forward for one of two council seats in the May 10 election.
Kunitzky has lived in the north end for more than five decades, since the age of five.
He said he believes maintaining municipal services is crucial to attracting new residents and investors.
Kunitzky said his goal is to take a tactical approach to each issue, develop a plan, and act on it.
