The Kennebecasis Valley High Reach for the Top team reached the championship final at the National Reach for the Top championship in Toronto before losing to Lisgar Collegiate of Ottawa, Ontario, winning the silver medal.
K-V-H-S reached the final by trouncing the defending national champs, Martingrove Collegiate from Etobicoke, Ontario.
K-V-H-S finished with a record of 15 and 2.
Team captain Sam Cookson was honoured by being named one of the four tournament MVP’s.
The team was also followed by a CTV national news reporter and will be profiled in a TV show later this year.
