Kingsbrae Gardens in St. Andrews is taking a bold step in hopes of attracting more young people to work at its facilities and other businesses in the town.
It has purchased a 10 unit apartment building at 22 Douglas Street in the community according to Brad Henderson of Kingsbrae Gardens.
” It was formerly known as the St. Andrew’s Waterfront Garden Suites, each unit has a single bedroom, kitchenette, and a private bathroom and a private living room with a back deck overlooking the Bay of Fundy,” mentioned Henderson.
” Because there is plenty of employment but we do not have is enough young workers, enough seasonal workers and one of the biggest barriers to them actually not relocating here is a lack of affordable accommodation, stated Henderson.
Henderson says the building is ready for occupancy on April 15th and the company purchased it without any help from any level of government.
