Left‑turn access restored at Reversing Falls Bridge

Drivers will see a change on the Reversing Falls Bridge as a long‑standing turn restriction comes to an end.

The City of Saint John said the weekday limit on left turns for eastbound traffic has been removed as of Thursday.

Motorists can once again turn left onto Douglas Avenue at any time of day.

The restriction had been in place during peak weekday hours.

The city said it was introduced to help manage traffic flow during periods of heavier congestion.

With the rule now lifted, the city says all regular turning movements at the intersection have resumed.
