The Provincial Opposition Leader and the Premier had a feisty exchange in the Legislature over energy this week.
Blaine Higgs wanted to know what the Premier’s energy plan was, but the Premier deflected the question by telling the house he knows what the PC’s want.
Gallant says all the PC’s are interested in doing is bringing back the shale gas issue and the fracking that goes with it.
Higgs started the exchange saying that our domestic supply of natural gas is expected to be depleted by 2020 and he wanted to know if the Premier had any plan to deal with that beyond September 2018 when the election is held.
