Lily Lake, Little River Reservoir reopen to swimming

Good news for those looking to take a dip in two popular Saint John swimming areas.

Lily Lake and Little River Reservoir have reopened to the public, the city announced Monday.

Both had been closed since last Wednesday after testing revealed high levels of E. coli.

But after additional testing over the weekend, Public Health gave the go-ahead to reopen them.

City officials said Fisher Lake, which was also shut down on Wednesday, will remain closed for the time being.
