Saint John officials are urging people to once again stay off Lily Lake in Rockwood Park.
Just two weeks after opening to the public, the city announced Friday that the ice is no longer safe for skating.
“Please stay off the ice until the conditions improve,” the city said in a news release.
City officials require the ice to be 12 inches thick in order to be considered safe for public skating and ice maintenance.
