11 locations for Cannabis NB retail stores have been announced after a tender process.
The provincial government says that these retail locations in our area are going to be open in July 2018, the federal government’s targeted date for cannabis legalization:
In Greater Saint John:
- Loblaw Properties Ltd. – 168 Rothesay Avenue (the Superstore location)
- Plazacorp Property Holdings – 87 Lansdowne Avenue (Lansdowne Plaza)
In Sussex:
- Plazacorp Property Holdings – 138 Main Street (the location of the Gateway Mall)
In St. Stephen:
- Cordova Realty – intersection of Route 3 Old Ridge Road and Route 1

Tenders have been re-issued for nine remaining sites which are anticipated to open by September of 2018. They include a southside location in Fredericton and Rothesay/Quispamsis location in Greater Saint John.
