Logging truck overturns on Route 1

No serious injuries were reported after a logging truck overturned on Route 1 in the Musquash area.

Firefighters, police and paramedics responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Musquash Fire Department helped get the driver out of the truck.

He was turned over to paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries, according to fire officials.

Officials closed the eastbound lanes of the highway for about an hour while the logs were removed.
