The Major Crime Unit of the Saint John Police force are investigating after a man was assaulted on Prince Edward Street this afternoon.
It happened around 3pm and it’s believed a weapon was involved. He was transported to hospital and several witnesses are being interviewed by police.
The condition of the victim wasn’t immediatly available. Police are still on the scene.
