Major Crime Investigating Theft At Vehicle Storage Compound

The Saint John police’s Major Crime unit is investigating a theft at a vehicle storage compound on Bayside Drive out east.

A number of catalytic converters were stolen from some vehicles along with tires and wheels from one the vehicles stored there.

Police responded to a home in the city’s north end for a man kicking at the back door of a home on Cranston Avenue.

They were told by a woman that she’d ended an abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend in October of last year.

They went to the home and found that the door had been forced open and arrested the 29-year-old man after he was found hiding under the bed.
