Discover Saint John is now making a concerted effort to take advantage of the money available from sports tourism.
Even though nothing has been firmed up yet on if and when the Field House will be built at Exhibition Park, one event has already been lined up…..The Canadian Masters Athletics Association national indoor track and field indoor championships for 2019 and 2020.
Saint John Track and Field coach Jason Reindl says it’s only the start of bigger and better things to come.
The masters’ track meet is for athletes over 35 and will be staged in Saint John if construction of the Field House is confirmed next year and open for business by the end of 2018.
