N.B. man airlifted to hospital after crash on Cabot Trail

A 58-year-old New Brunswick man is in life-threatening condition after a two-vehicle crash on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.

Victoria County District RCMP say it was around 10 a.m., Monday, in St. Anns, Cape Breton, when a motorcycle and a van, travelling in opposite directions, collided.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital by LifeFlight.

The driver of the van, a 47-year-old man from Quebec, and three passengers, had minor injuries.

Route 30 was closed for several hours.
