Man Arrested After North End Break-In

Police say a 39-year-old man has been arrested after a break-in at a business in Saint John’s north end.

Officers responded to a commercial alarm at a Lansdowne Avenue business just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

In a news release, police said officers found an open door and believed someone entered the building through the ceiling.

“After a search of the building, along with the assistance of K9, a 39-year-old man was located hiding between floor joists,” said the release.

The man was arrested for break and enter, along with breaching a court order.

He was later released on an understanding with a court date in February.
