Man arrested for multiple thefts, break-ins

Saint John Police have arrested a 40-year-old man who faces several charges related to ongoing theft and break-in investigations.

The man was arrested on Saturday when police found him with a stolen vehicle.

Officials allege he is connected to several break-ins and thefts since September.

Police have charged the man with:

  • Two counts of break-and-enter
  • Four counts of motor vehicle theft
  • Theft
  • Assault with a weapon

The arrested 40-year-old man remains in custody and will appear in court on Monday.
