A woman on Orange Street was beaten up during a domestic assault. She was punched several times which caused her eye to be bruised and swollen.
Police say an argument ensued after she let her ex-boyfriend inside where she lives. He later came back to where she lives and was placed under arrest.
The 21 year old man is looking at a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
