Man Arrested In East-Side Break-In

It didn’t take long for members of Saint John police to catch up with a break-in suspect overnight.

Police confirm charges are pending for one man now in custody following a break-in call in east Saint John late Tuesday.

Investigators arrived at an office building just before midnight to find someone already made their way inside the building before leaving with merchandise.

A 33-year-old man was arrested a few hours later, just before 3 a.m. Wednesday on Thorne Avenue.

Police have released no specific charges or details about a court appearance.
