Man Arrested In East Side Traffic Stop

One man has been arrested after an early morning vehicle stop in east Saint John.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle along Loch Lomond Road shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

A passenger in the vehicle was arrested for three outstanding warrants, according to a news release.

A 34-year-old man appeared in court Wednesday and pled not guilty for failing to appear in court on Sept. 8.

He was remanded into custody for a bail hearing on Thursday.

Police said a vehicle and utility trailer were also seized as part of an ongoing investigation.
