A Saint John man has a court date in March for trying to pass fake Canadian hundred dollar bills off as the real thing at various businesses in Quispamsis.
Police in the K.V. got several complaints in recent days about a man using or trying to use fake $100 bills.
On Wednesday, a worker of one of these businesses where the counterfeit money was used, noticed a man at the back at the store and called the police.
He was quickly arrested by Kennebecasis Regional Police and released with a court date in March on pending charges of possession of counterfeit money and fraud under $5000.00.
Saint John Police issued a warning about fake $100 dollar bills on Wednesday.
