City Police made an arrest after a serious assault that took place along Water Street.
A man says he was walking with two others when he was thrown down to the ground, kicked and punched until he was unconscious. He was discovered on the street bleeding from his head before being taken to hospital.
A 28 year old man is facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
