Man Charged in South Central Crime Spree

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a series of break-ins, thefts, and other related crimes.

The Saint John Police Force has been investigating various incidents in the South Central Peninsula between March 28 and April 8.

Shortly after 8 a.m. Friday, a man was arrested in the King Street area of the city’s uptown.

The man was held in custody for a court date on charges of theft and mischief, with more charges expected.

He is due back in court on Thursday for a bail hearing.
