Man Charged With Impaired After Pick Up Hits City Plow Truck

A 26 year old man is facing an impaired driving charge after a two vehicle accident involving a city plow truck just before midnight.

Saint John Police were called to Douglas Avenue near the museum and witnesses told them a pick up truck had hit a plow and the driver was trying to leave the scene.

When they arrived police found the man pacing back and forth and a woman was inside the truck.

The man was arrested and taken to the station and given a breath sample which resulted in the charge.

He was released and will answer to the charge at a later date.
