Man Facing Weapons Charges After Arrest In South End

A 22-year-old man is facing multiple weapons charges after he was arrested over the weekend by Saint John police.
Police responded to a disturbance in the south end near St. James Street and while they were questioning the man they noticed he had a weapon and was arrested for possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Officers found a prohibited weapon during a search but no word on what that weapon is.
He is facing charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a concealed weapon.
