Man Found On Embankment With Serious Injuries

Police say a man was taken to the hospital after being found on a steep embankment with serious injuries.

According to police, first responders were called to the area of Main Street West shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday.

“The Saint John Police would like to thank a group of employees working at the nearby mill who immediately assisted first responders by forming a chain to lower the injured man down the embankment to the ambulance,” police said in a news release.

The 37-year-old was taken to the hospital, and police said Sunday he was reportedly in stable condition.
