A 40-year-old man from the Bathurst area is dead.
RCMP says Stacy James Ellis died yesterday around 5:30 in the evening while attempting to clear an ATV trail of a fallen tree.
The tree managed to fall on him and the victim was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.
Also, more than a dozen cottages broken into in the Restigouche area.
RCMP says the break-ins occurred within the past week and are asking for the public’s help.
