A two-vehicle crash near Renous has claimed the life of a 52-year-old man from the Miramichi area.
Mounties say it happened on Route 8 between Blackville and Miramichi around 3:20 p.m. yesterday.

Cpl. Pierre Chiasson tells us a vehicle stopped to avoid several deer and was rear-ended by a second vehicle.
The victim was a passenger in the backseat of the first vehicle.
Chiasson says several other people were taken to hospital and are expected to be okay.
The investigation is underway and there’s no word on charges.
