A 59-year-old man was seriously hurt after being hit by a car on the Loch Lomond Road.
Sergeant Chuck Elgee says officers were called to the scene around 6:15 pm.
Elgee says the man is in serious, but stable condition at the moment.
The city’s traffic division is still investigating the incident.
The man was struck by a vehicle near the traffic lights just before the Tim Hortons on Hickey Road.
Police say no alcohol was involved.
