A 29 year old man is recovering after being shot in the lower leg early this morning in the area of Summer Street off Wright Street in the north end.
Major Crime is investigating that shooting as well as a report of a robbery at a house party on St. James Street. A man claims he had to hand over his cash and jewellry after being threatened by two other men after which he was allowed to leave.
A man and woman were struck by a vehicle but not seriously injured while crossing Lancaster Avenue. The driver didn’t stop at the time but later called police who seized the vehicle for further investigation.
