Man Stabbed In The South End

One person has been arrested after a weekend stabbing in Saint John.

Police say officers were called to Pitt Street in the south end just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

A 52-year-old man was treated in hospital and later released, said police in a news release Tuesday.

“A 45-year old man was arrested running from the scene on Sunday and taken into custody,” said the release.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday. No word yet on what charges he will face.
