A 26 year old woman telling City Police a 34 year old man with whom she had a relationship held a knife to her throat and threatened her in the parking lot at McAllister Place. The accused was arrested in Moncton and brought back to Saint John where he’s accused of unlawful confinement, assault and making threats.
Another man was arrested after police were called to Orange Street where a woman says her boyfriend struck her in the face with a hardcover book and gouged her eyes with his fingers. He was later seen at Waterloo and Union Streets and tried making a run for it but was arrested on Peters Street after a brief foot chase.
