Saint John police say a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.
The 27-year-old man was taken into custody by the RCMP on June 20.
A warrant was issued for his arrest four days earlier for allegedly breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
He was residing at a community correctional centre in Saint John, serving time for convictions including assault.
The Saint John police thank the public and the RCMP for their assistance.
