Man Wanted On National Warrant Arrested

Saint John police say a 44-year-old man considered unlawfully at large is back in custody.

Police say Timothy Mason was arrested without incident shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Mason on Aug. 1 for allegedly violating the conditions of statutory release.

He is serving a sentence of two years and seven days for a number of charges, including:

  • Assault Intentional Use of Force (x2)
  • Failure to Attend Court At Large
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under (x2)
  • Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (x6)
