Saint John Mayor Don Darling says there are fundamental plans in place to help get the Port City back on track financially and otherwise.
Speaking to reporters after his State of the City address on Thursday, Darling had a message for critics who question their timeline.
“I would say to those folks that say what about now and think everything is simple, come join the party. Get engaged and get involved because it isn’t simple, it isn’t the private sector it isn’t simple it’s multiple parties. As I said during my remarks everyone in Saint John wants everything to change, but nothing to change,” Darling stated.
Mayor Darling also says the plans they have in place are multi-year not something that can be done in a couple of weeks or months for that matter.
