The Saint John Firefighter’s union has a new president.
Craig Melvin has been with the Saint John Fire Department for 18 years and takes over the role from Peter Alexander who served two terms as president.
Melvin previously served as vice-president and Peter Alexander will continue to serve in the role of past-president.
