The Seniors’ Resource Centre in Brunswick Square has been around providing support in Saint John for 25 years.
A celebration was held on Level 1 of the mall with senior’s advocates, politicians and seniors.
Lisa Harris, the Minister for Seniors and Long term care, thanked everyone who works to improve the lives of seniors in this province.
Harris says their efforts are deeply appreciated adding what they do allows her to rest easy knowing that so many people care about their well-being.
The event got a larger crowd than expected after a tour bus full of seniors broke down in Saint John on the same day that three cruise ships were in town.
