Minto-Area Woman Charged With Second-Degree Murder

A 30-year-old woman from the Minto area has been charged with second-degree murder.

Jodie Carrie Clark appeared in court this week via tele-remand in connection with the death of 52-year-old Alexander “Andy” Ladds of Maugerville.

RCMP says on October 9th, a man was assaulted at a home on Highway 105.

When police arrived on the scene, they found an unconscious man with life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to the hospital where he died the next day as a result of injuries.

Clark was arrested less than 24 hours later at a home in Newcastle Creek.

She is scheduled to return to court on November 1st.
