Residents in Miramichi West are heading back to the polls next month.
They’ll vote in a provincial byelection on October 6.
The riding has been vacant since March 25, when former Progressive Conservative MLA Mike Dawson resigned to run in the federal election.
Currently, the Liberals hold 31 seats in the legislature, the Progressive Conservatives hold 15, the Greens hold two seats, and one is vacant.
